<br/><br/> The WHO Lyon Office is part of the IHR Coordination Department within the Health Security and Environment cluster at WHO Headquarters in Geneva Switzerland. The mission of the Office is to, in collaboration with the WHO Regional and Country Offices, assist countries to strengthen their national surveillance and response systems to better detect, assess, notify events and respond to public health risks emergencies of international concern under the International Health Regulations (2005) or "IHR (2005)".
